Onda City Council has confirmed the addition of the Santiago Domecq livestock to the bullfighting lineup for the Fira d'Onda 2026, where it will share the spotlight with the La Quinta brand.

This new addition seeks to enhance the quality of bullfighting events during the patron saint festivities. According to the municipal head of Festivities and Traditions, the goal is to maintain the prestige of this celebration, recognized as a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest, through the presence of top-tier livestock that generate excitement among fans.
The Santiago Domecq livestock from Cadiz has consolidated its position in recent years thanks to the consistency and mobility of its animals. Meanwhile, La Quinta, which was already announced last May, is a brand valued for the personality and behavior of its cattle in major bullfighting events.

"We are working to offer a high-quality bullfighting program, with top-tier livestock that generate excitement and contribute to maintaining the prestige of the Fira d'Onda."

The bullfighting program is completed with other notable events, such as the presence of the bull Bellotito, from the Partido de Resina livestock, and the bull run organized by the Guarismo 2 Cultural Bullfighting Association for Friday, October 23. These activities are the result of collaboration between the council, the Junta de Festes, and various local bullfighting entities.
