Valencia City Council has prepared a special operation including more than 300 Local Police officers to ensure safety and mobility on the beaches during the night of San Juan.

The operation, which will take place between 8:00 PM on June 23 and 6:00 AM on June 24, will feature a preventive command post on the Paseo Marítimo. This space will centralize security, Fire Department, and Civil Protection tasks, in addition to setting up a tent for lost children.
Surveillance will be reinforced with the use of drones along the entire coastline and the support of the Police Operations Canine Unit. Likewise, the Abuse Attention Group (GAMA) will be present on the Paseo Marítimo to offer assistance, while the Equality Service will install four violet points on the Malva-rosa and Cabanyal beaches for the prevention of sexual freedom crimes.
In the health sector, nearly 60 professionals, including doctors and nursing staff, will attend to emergencies with the support of ambulances and a field hospital. In the southern area, where lighting bonfires is prohibited, specific surveillance will be maintained to protect the natural park.
Finally, the council will distribute more than 25 tons of firewood from municipal pruning at nine points along the Paseo Marítimo. The service, which uses its own resources, seeks to facilitate the celebration in an orderly and safe manner for all citizens.
