The Pego Town Council will present the third issue of 'Les Sorts Púrpures' magazine on April 25, a project initiated in 2024 to highlight the importance of women in Pego society.

This initiative, which seeks to champion the role of women in society in general and in Pego in particular, offers a space for the female voices of the municipality. The new edition of the magazine is divided into five thematic sections.
Among the contents, there is a section dedicated to the winners of the Jo Dona Award, a part that explores sports through its protagonists, and another that addresses businesses and professions with various women from Pego. Additionally, there is a section on health and well-being with local professionals, and a final space highlighting the involvement of women in local festivities.
The presentation event will take place at the Carmen Alemany Bay municipal library at 12:30 p.m. Following the magazine's presentation, a round table will be held with the participation of some of the women featured in the last section, which focuses on their involvement in Pego's festivities.

"We believe that this project, the magazine, is important because we give importance to the figure of women and give them a voice, making their work visible in Pego society. Fortunately, in Pego we have many inspiring women and choosing only a few for each edition is certainly a complicated task because we want to make them all known, which is why we hope this project will have continuity over time."
