The Calp City Council will hold a new edition of Calp Drumt on July 21st, an international drumming gathering that is moving its location to Europa Avenue this year.

The event, which coincides with the commemoration of Belgium Day, aims to establish itself as a cultural benchmark on the Costa Blanca. The change of venue to Europa Avenue is intended to improve the organization of the event and more directly integrate the commercial and hospitality activity of the area, reinforcing the multicultural character of the proposal.
The 2026 edition will feature the participation of about 75 drummers of various levels, from amateurs to experienced musicians, who will play in unison. Registration to participate in this activity remains free for all interested parties.
Among the most notable novelties, the organization has confirmed the performance of the Belgian groups MG Brothers and Planet One, who will perform as opening acts. In addition, an official music video will be filmed throughout the day in different parts of the municipality to promote Calp as a cultural destination and a location for audiovisual productions.
To improve the audience's experience, a large-format LED screen will be installed, allowing the show to be followed live. Those who wish to participate as drummers can formalize their registration by sending an email to the address provided by the municipal organization.
