Godella has launched this Monday, June 1st, the second edition of its lunch contest, a gastronomic event that will run until June 30th to promote local hospitality.

The municipality of Godella has kicked off the second edition of its lunch contest, an initiative aimed at promoting local hospitality and celebrating one of the most representative culinary traditions of the Valencian Community. The event will be active until June 30th.
Participating establishments will offer special menus for the occasion with a maximum price of eight euros. These menus will include a sandwich, drink, 'gasto' (a small side dish or tapa), and coffee, aiming to make the traditional lunch experience accessible to everyone and encourage spending in local businesses. The contest seeks to highlight the variety, quality, and creativity of local dining.
The contest's dynamic is straightforward: participants must dine at participating venues and collect three stamps from different establishments. Once the card is completed, it can be submitted for a prize draw and to vote for the best lunch of the contest. This initiative combines gastronomic promotion, citizen participation, and support for the local business community.
The II Lunch Contest is supported by the Commerce Department of the Godella City Council, reinforcing its commitment to revitalizing local commerce and the hospitality sector through actions that celebrate the municipality's gastronomic identity.
