The Junta Qualificadora de Coneixements de Valencià (JQCV) has opened the registration period for official Valencian language certificates, expanding the offer of exam locations in the province of Alicante.

Registration for obtaining certificates at A2, B1, and Specific Languages levels will be exclusively online. The deadline to formalize registration will remain open until April 28 at 11:59 PM, without the need to request a prior appointment.
One of the most notable novelties of this call is that the A2 and B1 level tests will be held, for the first time, in Public Adult Schools (EPA). In the province of Alicante, this measure will allow exams to be taken in eight municipalities: Alicante, Alcoy, Benidorm, Dénia, Elda, Elche, Orihuela, and Villena.
The Generalitat seeks, with this initiative, to significantly increase both the network of places where Valencian language training can be received and the availability of spaces to officially accredit language knowledge. Those who have not passed the A2 course in adult schools and are not entitled to the certificate, as well as those who, without having completed training in these centers, wish to accredit that same level, may apply for these tests. Those who wish to obtain the B1 certificate may also apply, regardless of whether or not they are students of an EPA.
Technical language certification tests in media, administrative language, and text correction will be held at the Official School of Languages of Saïdia, in València. Another important novelty is the reinforcement of the offer of initial level certificates, especially A1, designed to encourage the use of Valencian among people who have settled in the Comunitat Valenciana. All EPA centers will be able to offer and propose certification at this level, and courses have been authorized in several city councils, at the University of Alicante, and in the provincial councils of València and Alicante.
For higher levels, online registration for B2 will take place from June 15 at 9:00 AM to June 23 at 11:59 PM, without prior appointment. For C1 and C2 levels, it will be mandatory to request an appointment in advance. For C1, the period will be from 09:00 AM on June 25 until 8:00 PM on July 6, 2026, or until appointments are exhausted. For C2, the period will start at 10:00 AM on June 25 and end at 8:00 PM on July 6, or earlier if available places are filled.
