On the twentieth day of indefinite educational strike, 1064 teachers, families, and citizens formed a human chain in Castelló de la Plana to defend public education, amid stalled negotiations.

On the twentieth day of indefinite educational strike, teachers organized a human chain in Castelló de la Plana involving 1064 teachers, families, children, and citizens, all committed to the cause of defending public education.
Participants joined hands and traced the route of the medieval wall of Castelló de la Plana to represent unity and commitment to the public school struggle. Negotiations have been stalled since the beginning of the week, as a negotiation table had not been convened again until today at 2 PM.
The human chain culminated in a demonstration, which began at the Conselleria d'Educació (Regional Ministry of Education) and was joined by more pedestrians, despite the weather. At the forefront, in addition to the unions, was the Manifa's Band, a large group of musicians who "fill the mobilizations with life and courage and encourage us to continue fighting united," according to the teachers.

"The citizenry is united for this cause, because public school is one of the fundamental pillars of our society. We will not stop mobilizing and taking action until the proposals for agreement from the Ministry are clear and minimally reasonable."
