The JQCV has announced the opening of the period to apply for official Valencian language proficiency tests. These include A2 and B1 levels, in addition to Specific Languages, which cover language in the media, administrative language, and text correction.

Registration will be done online and will be active until 11:59 PM on April 28. The Generalitat has reported that a prior appointment request will not be necessary for these levels.

This year, two important novelties have been introduced to expand the offer of Valencian language training and accreditation. One of them is that, for the first time, the A2 and B1 certificate tests will be held in Public Adult Schools (EPA) in various locations, such as Alicante, Castellón de la Plana, and Valencia, among many others. This significantly increases the places where training can be acquired.

This measure will allow individuals who have not passed the A2 course in adult schools, those who have not attended any course and wish to accredit an A2, or anyone who wishes to accredit a B1, to apply.

The other novelty is the increase in the offer of certificates for the lower levels, such as A1, with the aim of encouraging the use of Valencian among people who have come to live in the Comunitat Valenciana, for greater integration into society and culture. All EPA centers can offer and propose certification for this level, and courses have been authorized in various city councils, the University of Alicante, and the provincial councils of Valencia and Alicante.

Regarding registration deadlines for other levels, B2 will have its period from June 15 to June 23. For C1 and C2 levels, a prior appointment request for registration will be necessary, available from June 25 to July 6, or until slots are filled.
