The town of Cullera experienced a key day this Thursday in its coastal recovery process with the institutional visit of the Secretary of State for Environment and the Government Delegate in the Valencian Community to the regeneration works of the Marenyet and l'Estany beaches.
Both officials toured the maritime front located south of the Xúquer River, where the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (Miteco) is carrying out one of the most ambitious actions of recent decades on the Valencian coast.
The intervention, currently in an advanced phase, aims to reverse the structural regression that has plagued this stretch of Cullera's coastline for years, ensuring its readiness for bathers.
