Composer Vicent Ortiz Gimeno, from la Vall d'Uixó, has been nominated in the best contemporary classical work and composition category at the III Annual Awards of the Spanish Music Academy, to be held on May 26 in Madrid.

The Spanish Music Academy has announced the nominations for the third edition of its annual awards, reaffirming its commitment to recognizing artistic excellence and the talent that defines the Spanish music scene. Among the prominent names, Álvaro Lafuente, from Benicàssim, artistically known as Guitarricadelafuente, leads the list of nominees, alongside figures such as Rosalía, Amaia, and Leiva.
The artist from Benicàssim is a finalist in eight categories, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for Full Time Papi, Composer of the Year, Best Pop Album for Spanish Leather, Best Pop Song for Full Time Papi, Best Alternative Music Album for Spanish Leather, Best Alternative Song for Babieca, and Best Music Video for Full Time Papi.
