Riba-roja de Túria has celebrated International Museum Day with the inauguration of the Casa del Abogado, a rehabilitated property that hosts a new exhibition on the municipality's Visigothic past.

The inauguration day featured an institutional visit led by the mayor of Riba-roja de Túria, accompanied by the government team and the archaeologists responsible for the excavations at the València la Vella and Pla de Nadal sites. Attendees were able to tour the exhibition, which highlights the archaeological wealth of the area through unpublished pieces and audiovisual resources.
The Casa del Abogado, located in the old quarter, is a building listed as a Local Relevance Asset dating back to the late 18th and early 19th centuries. After years of disuse, the local council has promoted its recovery with an investment of nearly 500,000 euros, funded through the Pla Conviure.
This new space is intended to become a center for research and dissemination, housing the future headquarters of the Visigothic Museum of Pla de Nadal and the Count of Revillagigedo Study Room. In addition, its interior courtyard will be set up as a meeting point for cultural activities and municipal events.
