Aqualia has completed a complex renovation of the discharge pipeline at the La Rosaleda Wastewater Pumping Station (EBAR) in Dénia, the municipality's most important facility.

The work was carried out uninterruptedly from 7 PM on Tuesday, April 29, until 4 AM. The main objective was to replace the existing discharge pipeline with a new polyethylene (PE) pipe with a nominal diameter of 250 millimeters, a material that offers greater hydraulic reliability and durability for the installation.
Prior to the renovation, a comprehensive cleaning of the pumping station was necessary to access the work area. Given the nature of the facility, access was carried out under strict safety measures, as it is a confined space with a possible presence of gases.
To ensure personnel safety, the work was executed using self-contained breathing apparatus and a tripod with a recovery system, in accordance with established occupational risk prevention protocols. This intervention required detailed planning and the presence of specialized personnel, due to the preventive conditions and the criticality of the pumping station.
This action is crucial not only because it is the city's main wastewater pumping station, but also due to the need to carry it out at night to minimize any possible impact on the service and the public.
With these interventions, Aqualia reaffirms its commitment to the continuous improvement of hydraulic infrastructures, the safety of its workers, and the guarantee of an efficient and reliable service for the municipality of Dénia.
