The Xàtiva City Council has installed a new automatic self-service kiosk at the entrance of the town hall to simplify and expedite citizen services, enabling the immediate acquisition of registration certificates and appointment scheduling.

This device, located at the entrance of the municipal building, now allows citizens to immediately obtain individual and historical registration certificates, as well as request appointments for various municipal services. The kiosk can be used during municipal service hours and is designed for maximum ease of use by the public.
To obtain a registration certificate, users only need to identify themselves by placing their DNI, NIE, or passport in the enabled reader. Once the document type is selected, the system prints the corresponding certificate, which includes a Secure Verification Code (CSV) allowing its authenticity to be checked online, as highlighted by the council in a statement.

"This new service simplifies and streamlines a necessary procedure for a large part of the citizenry, making digital administration more accessible to groups most affected by the digital divide and facilitating in-person attention for those who need it."

the Councilor for Modernization
With this initiative, the Xàtiva City Council aims to offer a direct and accessible service, avoiding queues and waiting times, and without the need for prior appointments, electronic identification systems, digital devices, or Internet connection. At the same time, the implementation of the kiosk will help reduce the workload of the Citizen Service Office, allowing more resources to be allocated to procedures requiring in-person attention and reducing waiting times.
The council also reminds citizens that through the municipal electronic headquarters, registration certificates can be obtained automatically without the need to visit municipal offices. Over the coming months, usage statistics for the kiosk will be monitored to assess the potential installation of new devices in other municipal spaces with broader opening hours. Additionally, the expansion of available services will be studied, incorporating options such as fee payments or municipal space reservations.
