The Paiporta City Council held a key meeting with the Secretary of State for Commerce and Confecomerç to assess the state of local commerce after the effects of DANA and seek recovery avenues.

The meeting, led by the mayor of Paiporta, was attended by the Secretary of State for Commerce and the Government delegate in the Valencian Community. The main objective was to analyze the damages suffered by local businesses and establish an action plan for their recovery.
During the meeting, which also included the president of Confecomerç Comunitat Valenciana and the manager of the Paiporta Trade Association (ACOPA), the effects of DANA were presented. Members of the ACOPA board of directors also provided their perspective on the situation.
After the presentation of the damages, the participants visited a local business that has already been able to reopen its doors after the DANA episode. This visit allowed for a first-hand verification of the sector's resilience and the response of Paiporta's merchants.

"Local commerce is fundamental for our municipality, and it is crucial to articulate effective aid for its recovery."
