Nules Local Police have identified the driver of a vehicle that caused material damage to a private property on Nules beach and fled without reporting the accident or contacting the owner.

The incident occurred early last Sunday morning, around 3:00 AM, on Camí la Serratella. The driver involved was traveling towards Castellón when, for unknown reasons, they lost control of the vehicle and collided head-on with the perimeter fence of a private property, causing significant damage to the infrastructure.
After the accident, the driver requested tow truck services to remove the vehicle and left the scene without informing the Local Police or providing their details to the owner of the affected land. This situation prompted officers to launch an investigation to determine who was responsible for the damage.
In the following hours, the Nules Local Police conducted investigations that led to the identification of the driver, a resident of a nearby town. Once located, a friendly report was processed to manage the repair of the damages.
Consequently, officers have proposed a sanction for the driver for leaving the accident scene without reporting the damage. The Local Police reminds the public of the importance of informing the competent authorities when an accident with material damage occurs, especially when it affects third-party property.
