The Catarroja judge investigating the management of the 2024 DANA, which resulted in 230 deaths, has agreed to summon as a witness the driver who was at the service of the then Minister of Justice and Interior, Salomé Pradas.

This decision was made public this Thursday through a decree from the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community, detailing new witness summonses requested by the accusations of Mai Més València and the PSOE.
To proceed with the driver's summons, the magistrate has requested the Ministry of Emergencies to provide the identity details of the employee who accompanied Pradas on October 29, 2024, the day of the catastrophe.
In the same decree, the judge has informed the mayor of Sot de Chera of the possibility of voluntarily providing messages and calls related to the emergency within five days.
Furthermore, dates have been set for this April for several witnesses to testify in the open cases regarding the deaths of their relatives, with the aim of gathering information to help clarify the authorities' actions during the 2024 DANA.
