This initiative, announced by the Paterna City Council, seeks to consolidate an innovative management model in public services, with a special focus on the safety of residents. The new systems provide alternative, independent, and redundant communication channels, ensuring that security forces remain connected and operational under any circumstances.

The first system consists of a fixed Starlink antenna installed at the central headquarters of the Local Police. This infrastructure offers high-speed internet connection and improved GPS functionalities, designed to operate in complex environments and disaster areas. It relies on an extensive satellite network to ensure stable performance during emergency interventions, including complementary solutions for areas without regular coverage.
The second system comprises two Iridium 9555 satellite phone devices. These terminals do not depend on terrestrial networks, as they have their own antenna and allow direct communication between devices, provided they are used outdoors. Additionally, a portable Starlink antenna with an integrated battery is included, designed for deployment in police vehicles or intervention points, enabling the Paterna Local Police to operate in areas without terrestrial coverage.
