Tavernes Blanques enhances citizen security and fight against gender violence

The Local Security Board analyzes indicators, improves coordination, and promotes the VioGén System for victim protection.

The Local Security Board of Tavernes Blanques, chaired by mayor Arturo Ros, has analyzed the citizen security situation and reinforced coordination among administrations and security forces.

The Town Hall of Tavernes Blanques hosted the Local Security Board meeting, a working session aimed at strengthening coordination between different administrations and security forces and analyzing the citizen security situation in the municipality.
The session was chaired by the mayor, Arturo Ros, and attended by the Government's sub-delegate, José Rodríguez Jurado; the second-in-command lieutenant colonel of the Valencia Command, Jerónimo Pacheco; the commander chief of the Civil Guard Company of Sagunto, Gabriel Luque; the chief lieutenant of the Civil Guard Post in Tavernes Blanques, Gregorio Martín; the chief sub-inspector of the National Police assigned to the Valencian Community, Javier García; the head of the Coordination Unit against Violence against Women in the Valencian Community, Carla Mercé; the coordinator of Social Services of Tavernes Blanques, Roser Font; and the general secretary of the Municipal Corporation, Paula Catalán.
During the meeting, the main security indicators of the municipality and the evolution of registered incidents in recent months were evaluated. Likewise, prevention and coordination measures for upcoming events, festivals, and activities with large crowds were discussed.
Another matter addressed was the status of the Framework Agreement between the Town Hall of Tavernes Blanques and the Government Sub-delegation within the adhesion agreement to the VioGén System, in which the Local Police of Tavernes Blanques and the Civil Guard Post of the municipality work together for the protection of gender violence victims.
