This decision, made during the ordinary June plenary session, involves hiring janitors for public schools through the aforementioned municipal company. The measure aims for a "more sustainable and efficient" management, as stated during the plenary session.
The Councilor for Human Resources, Lara Llorca, highlighted the need to cover several retirements planned for this year in the Maintenance department. To address this, an employment plan will be developed to reassign current school janitors to assistant craft positions, thereby strengthening the Maintenance area with experienced personnel.
Furthermore, Human Resources credit will be transferred to EMSUVIM to cover the three positions that are being eliminated, allowing the municipal company to be responsible for hiring the new janitors before the start of the term.
