Twelve people received treatment for smoke inhalation, anxiety, and burns following a fire that broke out on Thursday night in a residence on Plaza Poeta Badenes in Valencia.

The fire started around 11:40 PM for unknown reasons in a city dwelling. Medical and fire brigade personnel were dispatched to the scene to manage the situation.
Medical services attended to a total of twelve individuals. A 66-year-old woman required transfer to La Fe Hospital due to smoke inhalation and second-degree burns, after being rescued by firefighters. The remaining affected individuals were discharged at the scene.
Of the eleven people discharged on-site, three were treated for anxiety and the other eight for mild smoke inhalation. Firefighters extinguished the flames and ventilated the affected building.
The residence where the fire occurred was completely destroyed by the flames.
