The National Police have arrested three individuals in Elda, two men and one woman aged between 27 and 49, for alleged public health offenses, after seizing nearly a kilogram of cocaine and over 35 grams of heroin.

The National Police have carried out two operations in Elda resulting in the arrest of three people, two men and one woman aged between 27 and 49, accused of an alleged offense against public health. The operations led to the discovery of significant quantities of narcotic substances believed to be intended for distribution.
In the first operation, a patrol noticed a poorly parked vehicle with a woman inside exhibiting vigilant behavior. Shortly after, a man approached and took the driver's seat. The conduct of both raised suspicions, and an inspection revealed a package under the driver's seat containing cocaine, weighing approximately one kilogram. Both occupants were arrested, and the vehicle was seized. Following police procedures, they were brought before the judicial authorities and remanded in custody.
The second intervention occurred in an area known for drug dealing. A patrol detected a man riding a scooter in the wrong direction at high speed. During a search, an envelope was found among his belongings containing a bag with over 35 grams of heroin. As the quantity exceeded personal use amounts, officers determined it was likely intended for illegal distribution. The man was arrested and brought before the judicial authorities.
These actions are part of the preventive measures implemented to combat drug trafficking in Elda and enhance public safety in the locality.
