The city of Elche will address its main infrastructure and environmental challenges in a new edition of the Foro Elche. The event, promoted by Prensa Ibérica and INFORMACIÓN with the support of Aigües d’Elx, Suma, Grupo ASV, UTE Elche, and Grupo Hozono Global, will be held as a breakfast-forum.
The event will gather the mayor of Elche, Pablo Ruz, and the Minister of Environment, Infrastructure, and Territory, Vicente Martínez Mus, to analyze key projects for the city's future. Among these are the second phase of the Ronda Sur, a crucial infrastructure to improve access and alleviate urban traffic, and the future implementation of the tramway, which aims to transform public transport.
The meeting will take place next Wednesday, May 27th, starting at 9:30 AM, at the Hotel Huerto del Cura, in the Salón Invernadero. This debate revives the session initially scheduled for April 28th, which had to be postponed due to the mayor of Elche's indisposition.
The session, moderated by the director of INFORMACIÓN, Toni Cabot, is part of Prensa Ibérica's initiative to create spaces for reflection among institutional representatives, public officials, the business community, and civil society. The discussion will place these projects within a broader vision of mobility, connectivity, competitiveness, and sustainable urban development, essential aspects for a city with an extensive municipal area, significant industrial weight, and residential growth.
Attendance at the event requires prior confirmation. Additionally, the forum can be followed live digitally via YouTube through the provided link.
