The request from the state body follows the pitch invasion that occurred at the end of the match between Eldense and Atlético Madrileño. In addition to the temporary closure of the stadium, the proposal includes a 10,000 euro fine for the club.
According to the file, during the pitch invasion, a supporter tore down a banner and assaulted a visiting team player. The report notes that the assault did not cause apparent injuries to the athlete.
The fan involved in these events faces a proposed fine of 10,000 euros and a ban from accessing sports venues for a period of 18 months, under Law 19/2007 against violence in sport.
The State Commission has also proposed sanctions for other sports entities, such as Racing de Santander and Deportivo de la Coruña, due to incidents that occurred during their respective promotion celebrations to Primera División.
