The Hotel Huerto del Cura in Elche hosted its Summer Welcome Gala, bringing together over 500 attendees for an evening with a circus theme and a strong charitable focus benefiting the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).

This fourth edition of the annual event transformed the hotel's facilities into a circus atmosphere, with stilt walkers, magic, and scenic elements welcoming guests. The central area, by the pool, was dominated by a large white and red tent, reinforcing the circus iconography within the setting of Elche's Palm Grove, a World Heritage Site.
Gastronomically, the gala offered a cocktail format with various stations, including foie bonbons, Iberian ham carver, pulled pork BBQ baos, and a selection of international cheeses. The sweet section had a special prominence, with the participation of a renowned pastry chef.

"If we have learned anything, it is that cancer is not invincible, and we are working to improve people's lives, to help them, to accompany them, to prevent."

Fermín Crespo · President of the Provincial Board of Alicante at AECC
The evening featured various entertainment proposals, from a tarot reader to a cotton candy machine, as well as a cocktail station with fire and smoke effects. Live music was a key element, with performances by the band La Bongo and a musical duo who performed classics from various styles, filling the dance floor until the end of the party.
Institutional representatives such as the Director General of Tourism of the Generalitat Valenciana, the Councilor for Tourism and Culture of the Elche City Council, and the Vice-Rector of the Miguel Hernández University, among others, attended the event. The gala is consolidating its position as a social and solidarity meeting point in Elche, thanks to the involvement of the local community and the collaboration of numerous companies that contributed products for a charity raffle.
