As is tradition, the city of Valencia invites residents and visitors to enjoy these events, which are part of the Maritime Holy Week calendar. The shows, by the renowned pyrotechnics company Tamarit, will take place on the night of Saturday, April 4, to Sunday, April 5.
The first event will be a bombardment of white and violet colors in the Plaza del Reloj del Cabanyal-Canyamelar, at 00:00 hours. This display will use 38 kilograms of gunpowder and last approximately 214 seconds, marking the beginning of Easter Sunday.
An hour later, at 01:00 AM, attention will shift to Martí Grajales Street, at its junction with the Mercat del Cabanyal. There, a fireworks castle will conclude the night with 44 kilograms of gunpowder and a duration of nearly 390 seconds.
This second show will combine thunder, whistles, and volcanoes, predominantly in red, blue, white, and silver, culminating with a final earthquake. Both proposals aim to keep alive the pyrotechnic tradition, deeply rooted in Valencia's maritime neighborhoods, as an expression of festivity and community.
