Tavernes de la Valldigna beach has inaugurated its renovated tourist office, located on Marina Avenue, improving accessibility and incorporating new technologies.

The Tavernes de la Valldigna City Council yesterday afternoon inaugurated the beach's Tourist Info office, located on Marina Avenue, following a comprehensive renovation. The space features a modern and functional aesthetic, with improvements in accessibility and new technologies to optimize service for visitors to the Safor coastline.
The event was attended by the mayor, Lara Romero, the tourism councilor, Emilio Fonseca, members of the municipal corporation, and representatives of the local tourism sector. The new look is characterized by a facade decorated with Valencian 'trencadís' mosaic patterns, updated interior furnishings, and state-of-the-art information screens. The refurbishment has addressed historical structural issues, such as water leaks, and enhanced energy efficiency.
The project's total cost was 95,000 euros, with 45,000 euros coming from European Next Generation EU funds, as part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan. The City Council contributed an additional 50,000 euros of its own funds for digital transformation and corporate image redesign.
Mayor Lara Romero emphasized that this renovation was an absolute priority, complementing the complete overhaul of the official Tourism website. Councilor Emilio Fonseca detailed that the renewed office is the result of significant effort to continue improving quality services, as the Tourist Info serves as the primary point of contact for thousands of tourists.
