The unstable weather this weekend has led several town councils and entities in the La Safor region to postpone events planned for the Sant Vicent Ferrer festivities, which are celebrated on Monday, April 13.

In Barx, the guided tour of the town, which included the nevera (ice house), and was scheduled for Sunday, has finally been postponed until May 3. The activity will start at 10:00 AM from the Tourist Info.
In Tavernes de la Valldigna, the mobile disco that had been announced for Sunday afternoon on the beach has also been suspended until further notice, due to adverse weather conditions.
Meanwhile, in Oliva, the commemoration day for the International Romani Day, organized by the town council in collaboration with associations, has been postponed. This celebration will take place next Sunday, the 19th, maintaining its location at the CPC El Pinet, with activities and games from 10 AM to 1 PM, and a meal with music at 2 PM.
However, in Oliva, the Vicentine program for today, Monday, is maintained, including mass at 12 PM, a sermon in Valencian at the Portal de Sant Vicent, a pyrotechnic display, and a wine of honor. The representation of one of the miracles will be held on April 19.
In Gandia, the mass and the Procession of Communicants, organized by the Collegiate Church, were held this morning. During this event, communion is given to the infirm or sick parishioners.
