The Universitat Popular de Gandia is organizing the fifth edition of the Used Book Fair on Saturday, April 25, an event combining culture, citizen participation, and solidarity in the Plaça de l'Escola Pia.

The event will take place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with the new addition of afternoon activities to encourage greater public attendance. Throughout the day, stalls will offer second-hand books donated by citizens, available for sale at popular prices.
All proceeds from this solidarity initiative will go to ASTEA SAFOR, an association for families of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The program includes parallel activities such as children's workshops between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM, a corporal expression display by Universitat Popular students at 11:00 AM, and a live bobbin lace exhibition.
In the afternoon, at 6:00 PM, Sanguinel·li will present the storytelling session Desitjos, accompanied by a mask-making workshop for children. Additionally, at 2:00 PM, a solidarity lunch will be held in Plaça Loreto, featuring a fideuá prepared by a renowned chef. Tickets, priced at 10 euros, include food, snacks, and a drink, and can be purchased at the Universitat Popular de Gandia and ASTEA until capacity is reached. Part of these proceeds will also benefit the association.

"This event represents the essence of the Universitat Popular as a project of cultural development and social participation, without forgetting the solidarity aspect."
