A joint operation by the National Police and Local Police in Gandia has led to the dismantling of a retail drug sales point and the arrest of two individuals with prior criminal records.

The police action took place yesterday evening-night near Beniopa Avenue in Gandia, following several weeks of surveillance on a premises frequented by individuals seeking to acquire narcotic substances.
Officers from the National Police assigned to the Gandia Police Station raided a ground-floor property on the same avenue, surprising residents with the deployment. Inside the dwelling, with the corresponding judicial warrant, various tools for drug manipulation and weighing were found, along with tens of grams of marijuana, a hundred grams of hashish, and over 4,000 euros in cash.
The two individuals present in the residence at the time of the operation were arrested. The detainees, who have extensive criminal records, have been placed at the disposal of the Gandia duty court, awaiting summons to appear as perpetrators of a crime against public health.
