The collegiate headquarters has undergone an energy renovation that has allowed for the renewal of its facilities and the incorporation of a new Library–Coworking space. The project also includes the installation of photovoltaic panels to enhance energy efficiency.
The reopening ceremony coincided with the inauguration of the exhibition “Recent Architecture Valencia 2023-24-25”, showcasing a selection of projects by architects from the province. The event was attended by the president of CTAV, Pablo Peñín Llobell, the delegate for La Safor, Ferrán Boscá Franch, the mayor of Gandia, José Manuel Prieto Part, and the president of the Mancomunitat de la Safor, Jordi Puig Muñoz, among other professionals.
The CTAV president highlighted that the renovation aligns with the new governing board's commitment to maintaining close relationships with delegations and strengthening the College's territorial presence. The energy reform aims to reduce the consumption of non-renewable energy sources and minimize environmental impact.
Ferrán Boscà explained that the renovated headquarters marks a new phase as a venue for cultural activities open to both members and the public, including book presentations and debates. The new Library and Coworking space will offer access to journals and books on architecture, urbanism, and design.
The mayor of Gandia, José Manuel Prieto, emphasized the architects' contribution to building a more habitable and sustainable territory, and the importance of the headquarters as a professional meeting point.
