The Municipal Contracting Board has accepted the proposals and opened the envelope containing the economic criteria, thus initiating the evaluation phase. This tender has generated significant market interest, with companies from Málaga, Madrid, and Burgos, among other locations, competing for the award.
The most competitive economic offer was presented by Piscinas Aquakit, the current service provider, with a reduction of 17.97% on the hourly rate for monitors. Other companies such as TDS Gestión Deportiva and Eulen have also proposed significant reductions, of 12.4% and 8.65% respectively. Grupo Provita and Podium Gestión Integral were in a second tier with discounts of 8% and 7.32%.
In the qualitative section, most companies demonstrate similar commitments, such as hiring personnel authorized in the use of defibrillators and quality certifications. However, differences have been observed, such as the lack of specific training plans from some companies or the absence of a quality seal in others, factors that could influence the final decision.
The contract, promoted by the Municipal Sports Board, redefines the rescue service in the four municipal pools: Castalia, Emilio Fabregat, the Olímpica, and Pinar del Grau. Up to 18,000 hours of service are anticipated, with a financial model based on unit prices per hour to adjust expenditure according to real demand, especially during the summer season. The procedure now faces its decisive phase to determine the best-positioned proposal.
