The renowned chef from Castellón, Jorge Lengua, recently awarded a Michelin Star, received the 'Olla d'Or 2026' distinction from the Gastronomic Society Olla de la Plana this Saturday.

The prestigious award ceremony took place during a fellowship lunch for the society's members, to which Lengua himself belongs. Thus, the young chef becomes the first member of the collective to receive this recognition, establishing himself as one of the leading figures in gastronomy in the province of Castellón.
The event, which has become the main activity organized by the gastronomic society, included thanks from the honored chef. The current president of the entity, José Iturralde, also spoke, highlighting Jorge Lengua's distinguished career.
With this award, the Michelin-starred chef follows in the footsteps of other recognized figures such as El Celler de Can Roca, Martín Berasategui, Ricardo Sanz, David de Jorge, Miguel Barrera, Raúl Resino, the owners of the restaurant Atalaya, as well as institutions like Castelló Ruta de Sabor (Provincial Council) or the Hospitality School.
