URbanitas del Vino 2026 Brings Utiel-Requena Wines to Seven Valencia Neighborhoods

The second edition of the event extends for two months with tastings, pairings, and gastronomic gatherings.

The city of Valencia will host the second edition of URbanitas del Vino, an initiative that, from May 7 to June 21, will bring DO Utiel-Requena wines to seven of its neighborhoods with an extensive program of activities.

This proposal, which had a successful first edition, is expanded this year with more participating neighborhoods, more restaurants, and a duration of two months. The objective is to offer new ways to enjoy the wines from 30 local wineries, making red, rosé, and white wines the common thread for afternoon gatherings, tastings, pairings, and gastronomic encounters.
Each activity will highlight both the most outstanding references from each winery and the gastronomy of the venues hosting these experiences. In this way, Valencia transforms into a large showcase of Utiel-Requena's wine richness, inviting the public to discover the wines at their own pace.
The seven neighborhoods that will be the setting for URbanitas del Vino 2026 are Ruzafa, Benimaclet, Centro, Cabanyal, Eixample, Malvarrosa, and Pla del Real. Each of them will offer different types of activities, such as afternoon and afterwork events for a relaxed atmosphere, expert-guided tastings and pairings, special breakfasts and menus that combine local cuisine with DO wines, and tastings with producers to learn about the history of the wineries.
The official kick-off of the event will take place on Thursday, May 7, at Casa Pescadores, with an exclusive event for media and gastronomic influencers. From that day on, all experiences will be available to the general public until June 21.
