The city of Vila-real officially kicks off its upcoming patron saint festivities in honor of Sant Pasqual, which will be held from May 15 to 24. The inaugural event is the exhibition of the traditional Manifesto, which can be visited since this Wednesday in the meeting room of the Comunidad de Regantes.
In this exhibition, the queen of 2026, accompanied by the six ladies who make up her court of honor, presents the dresses and accessories they will wear during the various festive events. The exhibition will remain open to the public until next Friday, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00.
The public will be able to contemplate a total of 15 formal dresses and seven work outfits, which reflect the traditional and customary richness of the town. Many of these pieces are laden with family stories and memories, turning the exhibition into a tribute to tradition and loved ones.
“"My work dress is made from sheets that belonged to my grandmother, and although she is no longer with us, it is a way to pay tribute to her; in fact, her initials are embroidered on the sleeve of the dress."
This event is the prelude to the official proclamation and the imposition of sashes on the queen of 2026 and the young women of the court of honor. This act will take place next Saturday, at 19:00, in the Auditori Municipal Músic Rafael Beltrán Moner.
