The city of Castelló celebrated Corpus Christi today, one of its most deeply rooted festivities, with a day that combined faith, popular culture, and the participation of local residents.

From early in the morning, the city center was filled with a festive atmosphere. Municipal representatives highlighted the identity value of this celebration and the fundamental role of the organizations that work to keep local traditions alive.
The events began at noon with the arrival of the giants at the Plaza Mayor, one of the most anticipated moments. During the afternoon, the spotlight was on the cavallets i nanos parade, which toured several central streets, followed by the Ball dels Nanos, performed by the Dansants del Corpus association.
The religious aspect took place at the Santa Maria Co-cathedral with a pontifical mass. As a grand finale, the general procession toured the city with the participation of brotherhoods, festive entities, and children making their first communion, reaffirming the importance of this event in the capital of La Plana.
