This emblematic historic venue brought together numerous families and visitors for a day dedicated to puppet theater, establishing itself as a benchmark for family leisure in the town of La Plana Baixa.
The program, with free admission, included various activities from morning to afternoon. Among them, a Chinese shadow puppet workshop was held in the museum and a finger puppet construction workshop outdoors. The day culminated with the theatrical performance La princesa o no, which attracted dozens of attendees.
This initiative is part of the special Easter program, which aims to enhance Onda's cultural and tourist offerings. This includes proposals such as theatrical visits and the opening of prominent heritage sites, such as the Castle itself, the Torre de la Presó, the Museo del Taulell, and the Molí de la Reixa.
“"The council continues to commit to bringing historical spaces to life with proposals designed for family enjoyment, while also seeking to bring heritage closer to all audiences. This program contributes to positioning Onda as an attractive destination during festive periods like Easter."
The Onda City Council thus promotes the integration of culture and heritage in a single space, with the aim of offering quality leisure alternatives and bringing local history closer to new audiences in an accessible way. The council is already working on future cultural and tourist activities, including an upcoming theatrical visit scheduled for May 1, to maintain the dynamism of the municipality throughout the year.
