The Festival de Les Arts has submitted the necessary documentation to the City of Arts and Sciences for its 2026 edition, scheduled to take place on June 5th and 6th at this venue. The documentation will be technically verified by CACSA to ensure compliance with applicable noise regulations.
This request follows a ruling by a Valencia court that dismissed an enforcement incident filed by the Generalitat's legal services. The legal team had asked the court to rule on whether the planned concerts and musical events could proceed based on promoters' prior accreditation of technical means and noise control procedures.
The court determined that it is the administration's responsibility to verify that sound emission levels and other necessary parameters are respected at all times to prevent violations of fundamental rights recognized in the ruling. It noted that, at this procedural stage, it could only rule on provisional enforcement upon request from its beneficiaries, namely the residents who initiated the lawsuit.
Sources from CACSA stated that Les Arts has submitted the documentation, which is currently under review. They recalled that the notified resolution maintains that it is the Administration's role to verify compliance with acoustic limits and other required parameters. Within this framework, the promoter must accredit the stipulated conditions, and CACSA will technically verify the submitted documentation.
This edition of the festival by Les Arts includes performances by Siloé; La La Love You; Pignoise; Leire Martínez; Two Door Cinema Club; Dorian; Carlos Sadness, and Triángulo de amor bizarro, among others.
