The Onda City Council has achieved the European Quality Label for Youth Information, a distinction from the Institut Valencià de la Joventut (IVAJ) that certifies the excellence of its services for young people.

This recognition positions Onda as one of the first municipalities in the Valencian Community to achieve this distinction, along with Aldaia, strengthening its leadership in youth policies. The label guarantees that the information provided to young people through the Casal Jove is truthful, verified, and does not require subsequent confirmation.

"Obtaining this European recognition is a source of pride and a guarantee for our families. Casal Jove is consolidated as a trusted space where every young person can find answers that help them actively participate in our society."

The distinction, announced on European Youth Information Day, facilitates decision-making, autonomy, and critical thinking among Onda's youth in the face of information overload and fake news on social media.
To obtain this quality mark, the Onda City Council underwent a rigorous audit procedure. The process included a self-assessment of the service and, as a differentiating element, an external evaluation carried out by a group of young people. This group was responsible for assessing key aspects such as the usefulness of the information, its ease of understanding, and the ability of the Casal Jove to address the real concerns of the municipality's young population.
With this distinction, Onda commits to respecting the principles of the European Youth Information Charter, ensuring complete, objective, reliable, and accessible communication for all young people. The label is valid for three years and will allow all youth information publications, guides, and services in Onda to display this European quality mark, internationally recognized by the European Youth Information and Counselling Agency (ERYICA).
