The festive program kicks off on Thursday with the inauguration of a traditional costume exhibition at the Multipurpose Venue, showcasing the official attire of all the 'quintas' (groups of young people). On Friday, the Quinta del 99 will be the focus of a festive day, bringing together previous and subsequent 'quintas', as well as the one celebrating its 25th anniversary.
On Sunday, the Quinta del 99 will parade to the Plaça Major, where the 'dosser' (canopy) in honor of Sant Vicent Ferrer will be opened, the altarpiece torches lit, and a live musical performance will take place.
The main day of the festival will be Monday, April 13, with the celebration of Sant Vicent, which annually gathers thousands of people from Nules and other towns. The traditional parade, led by the 'quintas', will depart at 9 AM from the Plaça Major and proceed through the town's streets. It will conclude with the handover of the banner to the Quinta of 2000, who will organize next year's festival. In the afternoon, a mass and procession will be held.
“"This is one of the most multitudinous and deeply rooted festivals in the municipality, with a strong identity and cultural component. The parade and religious acts, as well as the traditional 'dosser', are part of a celebration that was declared a Festival of Provincial Tourist Interest in 2021."
The Department of Traditions has reinforced this year's arrangements with an additional ambulance and an increased number of public urinals installed. This festival, established by the Quinta of 1961, has become one of Nules' most representative and participatory events.
