This Monday, April 27, at 6:00 PM, the Multi-purpose Hall in Nules will host a new session of the Àgora cycle, featuring psychologist Rocío Ramos-Paúl, popularly known as Supernanny, and psychologist Luis Torres Cardona. The conference, titled '¿Sobreproteges o educas?' (Do you overprotect or educate?), will offer free admission until full capacity is reached.
The talk will focus on the importance of family education and the impact that overprotection can have on child development. The specialists will provide practical tools to foster autonomy, establish clear boundaries, and improve family coexistence.
Rocío Ramos-Paúl is a prominent figure in family education in Spain, with extensive media and academic experience. Her career includes university teaching and collaboration in postgraduate programs on child and adolescent cognitive-behavioral therapy, as well as dissemination on boundaries, autonomy, and emotional management.
For his part, Luis Torres Cardona is a clinical psychologist specializing in childhood and adolescence, with experience in diagnosis and behavior modification. His work stands out for its clarity in explaining how overprotection can affect the emotional and behavioral development of minors.
The Àgora Nules cycle is an initiative of the Nules City Council, in collaboration with the Nules Business Association and UNED Castelló-Vila-real, with the aim of bringing content of social and educational interest to the public.
