Actress Eva Isanta has surprised by recalling a little-known period of her adolescence. The performer, who always knew she wanted to pursue acting, shared that when she was 14, she considered entering religious life after feeling very influenced at her school.
Isanta explained that she was at a religious institution where they tried to guide several girls towards that vocation: "They saw those attitudes of devotion and faith in us." In her case, that pressure eventually took hold to the point where she thought she wanted to join the clergy.
The change in her attitude did not go unnoticed at home. Her parents began to notice that she was too influenced by certain people around her, and a family acquaintance eventually alerted her father to what was happening within that religious current.
The family's reaction was firm. Her parents forbade her from seeing those people, a decision that angered her at the time. "At that moment, I rebelled," Isanta admitted, recalling how she experienced that period.
Over time, the actress has completely re-evaluated that decision: "Now I am profoundly grateful that they forbade me." That family intervention ultimately proved decisive for Eva Isanta to follow the path of acting and not stray from the profession that would shape her life.
