The town of Moncofa recorded a significant influx of visitors during Easter Week, surpassing previous years' figures by over 10%, thanks to its tourism program and the 'In Easter it's already summer in Moncofa' campaign.
The municipality of Moncofa experienced a remarkably high visitor turnout during Easter Week, exceeding previous years' data by more than 10%. This positive trend reaffirms the town's strong tourist positioning and the effectiveness of its 'In Easter it's already summer in Moncofa' campaign, which attracted a large number of tourists this year.
From Holy Thursday throughout the festive period, the streets of Moncofa buzzed with activity, with packed terraces and restaurants. The increase in visitors was complemented by a program that offered a preview of the activities planned for the summer season, creating an early summer atmosphere.
According to data from the Tourist Info, visitor arrivals began gradually in the days leading up to the holiday, primarily from Madrid, the Basque Country, and Aragon. During the festive days, the tourist profile shifted towards local tourism, with a notable presence of visitors from the Valencian Community.
Several factors contributed to this high influx, including favorable weather conditions with sunny days and pleasant temperatures, as well as the rise of local tourism. Furthermore, Moncofa's consolidation as a tourist destination continues to break records year after year.
This growth is also a result of the promotional work the municipality carries out throughout the year. Already in January, during the FITUR fair, Moncofa presented its 'Moncofa 365 days' strategy, along with a preview of the Easter Week program and the 'In Easter it's already summer in Moncofa' campaign.
The hospitality sector has also positively evaluated this Easter Week, which allowed for the reactivation of activity after the winter months thanks to the great atmosphere in establishments and terraces, and anticipates a summer season with good expectations.
