The Vila-real-based company La Fam, awarded the Max Award 2025 for best production work, will be responsible for the street spectacle in the Sant Pasqual festivities parade in Vila-real. This event, which this year will be held at night on May 17, promises to be one of the main attractions of the patron saint festivities.
La Fam's participation will be based on their successful show Quimera, which has already received accolades such as best circus show at FETEN 2024 and the award for best circus performance at the Valencian Performing Arts, also in 2024.
The parade, which will start at 10:00 PM on Sunday, May 17, will follow a reverse route from the usual, starting from Cardenal Tarancón street (Barranquet) heading north towards Castellón. One of the notable novelties is the reservation of a section of the route with low noise levels, on Murà Avenue, near the Comunitat de Regants de Vila-real building. This initiative, promoted by the VilaTEA association and the Comissió de Penyes, will allow neurodivergent people or those with autism spectrum disorder to enjoy the festive event.
About thirty local clubs will participate in the parade with their floats and characterizations, which will include critiques of local or international current events. There will also be various Vila-real associations and brass bands providing music for the event. Once the parade concludes at the roundabout of Mediterrani and Riu Ebre avenues, a musical evening will begin in Mayorazga Park with the performance of the Panorama orchestra.
