FITCarrer Fills Vila-real with Theater and Dance in a Multitudinous Day

The 38th edition of the International Street Theater Festival (FITCarrer) has filled Vila-real with theater, dance, and circus, transforming squares and parks into vibrant stages for a multitudinous day.

This Saturday, the city of Vila-real experienced an intense day of FITCarrer, with a program that showcased numerous scenic proposals across different urban spaces. The performances captivated the audience, solidifying the festival's commitment to street performing arts.
Among the highlighted acts, attendees enjoyed ‘Gota’, by Txema Muñoz, in the Plaça de la Vila, and ‘Invisibles’, by Pepa Cases, at the Archpriestal Church. These proposals offered a variety of genres and styles for all tastes.
Other emblematic city spaces also hosted performances. The Parc del Pilar was the setting for ‘Artilusio’, by Markeliñe, and ‘Intrusos’, by Lolo Fernández. Meanwhile, the Botànic Calduch presented ‘Àcid’, by Sound de Secà, offering a diverse cultural experience.
The Parc de la Maiorasga became one of the festival's epicenters, with various performances including ‘Sóc’, by Marta Sitjà, ‘Wild’, by Motionhouse, and ‘El peor espectáculo del mundo, de momento’, by Zanguango Teatro. The day concluded with ‘Eirenê’, by La Troupe Malabó, in the Plaça Major, reinforcing the international and multidisciplinary nature of FITCarrer.
