A fire at a recycling plant in Onda has prompted a large emergency response and the evacuation of homes in the Bovalar area due to the significant smoke plume generated.

The fire, already well-developed, has affected part of the stored material at the facility, increasing its intensity and requiring additional resources to stabilize the situation.
As a safety measure for the nearby population, several homes in the Bovalar area have been preventatively evacuated due to the potential impact of the smoke.
The Provincial Fire Consortium initially mobilized three units and a command unit from the Plana Baixa and Espadà Millars parks. Subsequently, the operation was expanded to six units, including personnel from Baix Maestrat.
The deployment also includes an articulated tanker truck with a capacity of 35,000 liters, in addition to a command unit and a leadership unit, aiming to reinforce firefighting efforts and control the spread of the blaze.
