Moncada now knows its main Fallas representatives for the 2026-2027 term. On Thursday, June 4th, the calling and appointment ceremony took place, attended by many Fallas members.

The Moncada City Council hosted the traditional calling and appointment ceremony for the Falleras Mayores and the Court of Honor for the upcoming 2026-2027 term. The event, one of the most anticipated in the Fallas calendar, brought together numerous Fallas members from the town.
The mayor of Moncada, Amparo Orts Albiach, personally communicated the news to the chosen young women. Paula Del Moral, from the Falla Del Poble, has been named Junior Fallera Mayor, while Gemma Redondo, from the Falla El Palmar, will serve as Fallera Mayor.
Luna Villanueva, Irene Nieto, and Paula Martínez will complete the Fallera Mayor's Court of Honor. There will be no Junior Court of Honor this year. The Local Fallas Board of Moncada faces this new stage with enthusiasm to offer unforgettable Fallas celebrations.
The president of the Local Fallas Board, Joaquín Pérez, and his team are already working on preparing the new Fallas term to promote the festival and uphold its tradition.
With these appointments, Moncada begins its journey towards the 2027 Fallas, a new cycle filled with projects and passion for one of the most representative festivals of Valencian culture.
