The Mayor of Burriana, Jorge Monferrer Daudí, has visited the facilities of Colección Alexandra, a local company that has established itself as a benchmark in the design and manufacture of high-end furniture nationally and internationally.

During the visit, Monferrer Daudí highlighted the value of this family business, which combines craftsmanship and avant-garde design, having furnished emblematic spaces such as the Hotel Ritz in Madrid and contemporary residences like that of footballer David Villa.
The firm, currently managed by the second generation of the founding family, brothers Juan Manuel Ventura (manager) and Jacobo Ventura (design and projects head), represents the design, avant-garde, and craftsmanship of the capital of La Plana Baixa.
Founded in 1994 by designer María José Guinot, Colección Alexandra has evolved while maintaining its core values of quality and detail, incorporating new technologies and an elegant aesthetic. This trajectory has positioned it as a leader in the exclusive furniture sector, offering digital tools and resources to architects, designers, and interior decorators.
The projection of the Burriana-based company, which employs 47 people, includes notable commissions such as its participation in the reopening of the Hotel Ritz in Madrid, where nearly two-thirds of the furniture was manufactured at its Burriana plant.

"It is a source of pride for our city to have companies like Colección Alexandra, which carry the name of Burriana around the world linked to excellence, luxury, avant-garde, and well-done work. From this city council, we will continue to support our entrepreneurs, who are the true engine of our economy and the best ambassadors of our land."

In recent years, the company has undergone a significant transformation, adapting to changes and offering contemporary avant-garde projects. An example of this is the creation of exclusive pieces for personalities such as international footballer David Villa, who entrusted Burriana's craftsmanship for his home's interior design and a display cabinet for his trophies, including the World Cup and the jersey he wore with the Spanish national team in South Africa in 2010.
This visit is part of the mayor's active listening agenda with the city's business fabric, aiming to understand the needs of the productive sector and strengthen Burriana as one of the main economic hubs of the Comunitat Valenciana.
