The Burriana City Council has formalized a new collaboration agreement with the Burriana Sports Club for 2026, which includes a nominative subsidy of 45,000 euros to promote grassroots football.
This agreement, processed by the Sports Councilor, establishes the conditions and commitments for the granting of a nominative subsidy. This budget allocation has been expanded thanks to a credit modification recently approved in a plenary session, resulting from the consensus between the municipal executive and sports entities.
The measure seeks to guarantee greater financial support for grassroots football and allow the natural calendar to be adjusted to the sports and competition calendar in Burriana during this year.
The 45,000 euro subsidy will be entirely allocated to financing the club's sports project, with the main objective of fostering and promoting the practice of football in the municipality. This ensures that an entity with the trajectory of CD Burriana has the necessary resources to carry out its activity during the current fiscal year.
The municipal support seeks to strengthen an institution that is a benchmark for young athletes in the city, facilitating not only competition but also training in values inherent to sports. With this signing, the City Council highlights its link with the local associative fabric and its constant support for the clubs that carry the name of Burriana in their respective categories.
