This musical event, which promotes creativity and coexistence, has had the collaboration of the Education, Art and Society (EDARSO) research group from the UJI, within the framework of the PROMUS project, funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
A total of eleven educational centers took part in the day, which culminated in a concert where the ukulele, voice, and body percussion were the main features. Among the participants were IES Francesc Ribalta, IES Mater Dei, IES La Plana, and IES Vicent Castell i Domènech from Castelló de la Plana; IES Vall d'Alba, SES Cabanes, IES El Prat, and IES Violant de Casalduch from La Plana Alta; IES Gilabert de Centelles from La Plana Baixa; IES Joan Coromines from Baix Maestrat, and IES Berenguer Dalmau from l'Horta Sud.
The musical program combined state rock classics and international hits, along with student creativity. Versions of groups such as Fito y Fitipaldis, Los Secretos, Txarango, Passenger, and Vance Joy were performed. In addition, the piece NANANA Come on! by Enric Pizà, with body percussion, involved the entire Paranimf. The winning song from last year's «TÚ KÈ, compons?» competition, an initiative that highlights the creative capacity of young people, was also performed.
This event is the result of an effort that begins at the start of the academic year, with training seminars for teachers and intensive classroom work. The project aims to place students at the center of the creative process, democratizing art through the accessibility of the ukulele, allowing any student to be part of a large concert, regardless of their prior knowledge.
The multidisciplinary proposal integrates various instrumental resources, solo voices, choreographies, and composition, and is structured into programs such as «TU KÈ, dibuixes?», «TU KÈ, balles?», «TU KÈ, em sones?», «TU KÈ, compons?», and «TU KÈ, punxes?», fostering collaboration between didactic departments.
