The town of Oropesa will host the XXIV Trobà from April 30 to May 3, 2026, an event declared a Provincial Tourist Interest Festival that will fill its historic center with tradition and craftsmanship.
For four days, the streets Leoncio Serrano, Castelló, San Isidro, Ribera Forner, Ramón y Cajal, and Doctor Clará, along with the Plaza Mayor, will host a total of 222 stalls. These will offer handmade products, trade demonstrations, and various cultural activities for all audiences. As a novelty, this year's program includes an art exhibition in the municipal library, featuring works by Miguel Mancheño and Raúl Segura Arín.
The official inauguration of the fair will take place on Thursday, April 30, at 5:30 PM, with the presence of local authorities, queens, and festival-goers. This event will mark the beginning of an edition that stands out for the expansion of spaces dedicated to the fair and the great diversity of scheduled activities.
Among the proposals of the Trobà, there will be participatory workshops on traditional crafts such as pottery, ceramics, leatherwork, jewelry, raku, and chocolate making. In addition, customary recreations and performances by folk groups from different parts of Spain will be held, along with local collectives such as the Escola de Danses Orpesa and the Escola de Dolçainers i Tabaleters l'Embolic.

"The fair allows artisans and small businesses to gain visibility, in addition to boosting the local economy. I encourage residents and visitors to enjoy the May long weekend in the municipality."
One of the most anticipated moments will be the recognition of the 'Trobadors Il·lustres 2026', a tribute to the people who have contributed to the growth and consolidation of this event. The traditional goose parade will also return, one of the most popular activities that attracts a large number of visitors.

"This event has grown significantly over the years and highlights the value of local craftsmanship and traditions. I appreciate the work of the people who have helped consolidate the fair as one of the main hallmarks of the municipality."
